Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job location: Abu Dhabi

Years of experience: 10 and more years

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Project team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project.
• Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the work in the project.
• Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of Contractors monthly payment applications and in finalizing the payment certificates.
• Preparation of BOQ.

Preparation of variation orders.

• Maintain and streamline all cost and quantity records.
• Take measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.
• Evaluate the unit rates for new work items and present for review.
• Demonstrate familiarity with various forms of construction contracts, such as FIDIC.
• Analyse cost implications of design changes.
• Identify and propose value engineering solutions.
• Participate in the Evaluate contractual claims.
• Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of entitlement of Contractors claims for review and issuance.
• Advice on contractual matters related to financial issues.
• Maintain comprehensive project records and documentation.
• Monitor the contractor's resource allocation.
• Preparation of financial statements for monthly report.
• Partake in the auditing of payments to Contractors.
• Monitor contracts final cost estimates.
• Check and record measurements of completed work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying or Civil Engineering and 10 years demonstrable experience in Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration
• Professional accreditation such as MRICS preferrable
• Must be available in UAE
• Must be fluent in English both written and spoken with an excellent capability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month
