Position DescriptionSenior Quality Engineer is responsible for QC related mattersPurpose of Role (Objectives)Oversees Quality of the Projects and Services provided under the Project/ ContractSupport Tender QA/QC activities. Review Tender documents to ensure identification and comprehension of Quality requirements.Key Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesResponsible for QC related matters of bought out itemsParticipate in Kick Off meetings, Pre-inspection meeting to convey inspection and test requirement as per project specificationReview Supplier Quality ITP, Procedures, Special Process Personnel Qualifications, FAT Procedures, etc. based on criticality rating and manage approval with ClientReview and approve TPI CV before deploying at supplier\'s facility to ensure competency of the inspection personnel.Liaise with Project/ Sourcing for the timely inspection at supplier\'s facilityInterface with Client for Supplier Quality InspectionsManage Client specific Quality tools and provide updates on the tool regularlyRegular inspection visits to site based on ITP interventionWitness inspection/testing at local suppliers ITPCoordinate with supplier for the timely closure of NC if any raised during work executionResponsibility for ensuring that Inspection Release Notes (IRN) are issued in a timely manner (as applicable).Ensure supplier NCR are captured and records are maintainedReview of Supplier Quality DossierPrepare and issue QA/QC Monthly Summary Report to Client as per the agreed templateSkills and DutiesExtensive experience in prioritizing and organizing work activities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within set deadlines and timelinesSound knowledge of QC functions to perform cost control processes and make appropriate business decisions for multiple assigned projectsQualifications & Education RequirementsUniversity degree, preferred in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Engineering.Experience RequiredFundamental understanding of at least one engineering discipline: Mechanical, Chemical, Instrument, ElectricalBroad knowledge of all engineering disciplinesProven track record in project engineeringEngineering degree only preferredMechanical is preferred
