Major Accountabilities of the Position


• Project activities and services are running in compliance with the company s and contract quality requirements.
• Responsible for leadership, direction, management and the execution of Quality Management Systems Program for the various projects
• Assures that the projects activities are complying with the applicable plans, codes, standards, specifications and design practices.


Responsibilities


• Establish and communicate project quality requirements to the project management team.
• Collaborate with the project management team on the set-up and implementation of key processes and application methods.
• Develop and issue project specific quality requirements and an inspection and test matrix based on specifications, codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Responsible for coaching, training and mentoring project team.
• Confirm conditions adverse to quality are identified, documented, disposition and tracked through acceptance and closure.
• Support the Corrective Action resolution process.
• Proactively communicate quality opportunities with project, including issues or concerns to the project management team.
• Support project in confirming quality metrics are consistently tracked and reported.
• Collaborate with engineering with regards to specification driven quality requirements.
• Maintains records of all QA/QC activities
• Coordinates or manages the timely completion of quality deliverables including Project Quality Plan, Internal Audit, Performance Improvement initiatives, QA/QC Inspection related activities, manages NCR and corrective action process and register, maintained project Risk Analysis and Lessons Learned registers, and compiles necessary Project reporting.
• Comply with all Safety & Health requirements and monitors construction activities to ensure adherence to Quality standards.
• All other duties assigned.

Job Specific Knowledge:

Industry Specific Experience:


• Decent years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Degree in engineering (e.g., Quality or Mechanical is preferred). Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2015. TWI-CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector. NDT Level II/III - LPT, UT, RT, MT
• HSE Capability: Basis Knowledge about Hazards and risk, emergency management, incident management
• IT Skills: Excellent IT skills, particularly the Microsoft products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• People Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Other: Excellent attention to detail. Exposure to ADNOC Projects is added advantage
