Location: Dubai

Job Summary: As an API QA Tester, you will be responsible for conducting thorough API testing, designing test strategies, and collaborating with development teams to enhance our OTT media streaming APIs. Your role will involve media-level testing, including audio/video compressions, player tests, and ABR validations.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Conduct thorough API testing for OTT media streaming.
2. Design and execute test plans and strategies.
3. Collaborate with development BE teams to resolve API issues.
4. Perform media-level tests such as audio/video performance tests and ABR validations.
5. Analyze and report on test results to enhance product quality.
6. Implement automated tests for regression testing

Required Skills and Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. Proven experience in API testing for OTT platforms.
3. Strong knowledge in DRM, Encryption/Authorization, Key Retrievals, Certificate and License Server configuration
4. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP protocols, and JSON.
5. Proficiency in testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
6. Experience with Testing Automation Frameworks (e.g. Selenium, TestNG).
7. Good Knowledge with media players in OTT environments.
8. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with cloud-based testing environments and CI/CD pipelines.
2. Knowledge of video streaming formats and codecs, DRM and Test Automation frameworks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
