:Senior Project Manager (Traffic)Dubai, UAEWhat You\'ll Be Doing:Lead and guide traffic analysis strategies and overall projects approaches to ensure Clients objectives are achieved and Clients expectations are consistently met.Manage scope development and the tendering process for procurement of sub-consultants and/or third-party reviewers.Provide direction and management on design aspects as related to traffic engineering.Devise in coordination with the project team, design management and design delivery strategy to ensure technical excellence and on-schedule completion of design activities.Provide technical input, solutions and expertise as require.Promote technical excellence on the project through application of quality assurance processes, ensuring quality objectives applied to each project are consistently met.Prepare, execute, monitor, and control the projects design management plans.Maintain overall knowledge of drawings, specifications, general contracts and time schedules.Express awareness of the local authorities requirements, processes and procedures, the required documentation to obtain authorities approvals and the required level of details for the design documentation.Provide high level liaison with Clients and Clients representatives on design progress.Establish and chair meetings and design workshops as required to review project status and formulate action items.Manage the delivery of the TIS and traffic analysis, option study for road layouts, and corridor study, ensure coordination of various disciplines by ensuring consistency in studies produced with respect to adherence to the overall vision, design criteria, required standards and Clients expectations.Coordinate and manage activities of sub-consultants for delivery of projects.Liaise with Discipline Leads, internal and external team members including designers, specialist designers, engineering disciplines, quantity surveyors, etc. to ensure a fully coordinated design between all disciplines.Works with Program Directors, Project Managers, and Disciplines Leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.Ability to mentor and lead subordinates and young engineers to improve their performance and develop their career.Monitor the quality and progress of the disciplines in projects, ensuring that production requirements are satisfied.Work closely with project team to resolve any existing or forecasted problems related to discipline staffing, quality of work, schedule performance, or productivity.What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution - advance degree in traffic engineering an assetMinimum 20 years of experience in traffic engineering within a consultancyMinimum 10 years of experience in a similar role managing traffic studies, corridor study, and road layout optioneeringIncumbent should have a broad general technical and business background.Must have the ability to manage projects, interface with clients and enjoy being hands on technically in the project.Comprehensive knowledge of industry standardsIncumbent must meet Parsons\' project management certification requirements.Proven ability to perform in a management capacity, excellent written and oral communicationMinimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
