Overview
As a Senior Project Manager at Knight Frank, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for our clients. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, day to day activities, budgets, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional project management expertise, and a track record of driving successful outcomes in a consultancy environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and Assist Project team on all Project management activities throughout the full lifecycle of the project. Actively manage all project reporting and records keeping. Take the lead on all construction, scheduling, commercial, procurement, risk, Health and safety management activities conducted by the team. Manage/Assist on all Procurement Activities including prequalification's, tendering and evaluation. Preparation of tender evaluation reports. Actively lead and participate in Contracts management and Scope management. Handle tracking of Material and Equipment ordering & delivery status. Review Progress Billings and support commercial management in issuing reports for all project stakeholders. Manage compilation of full tender documents. Ability to fully develop and continuously update risk registers, project execution and project management plan. Review Change Orders in parallel with the Project commercial management. Prepare documents for uploading in project document controlling platforms and Manage all DC systems in association with Team assigned DC. Manage Close Out Documentation & O&M Manuals. Participate in all QA/QC procedures set forward by project lead. Manage and update project logs, issue client reports, as and when required. Prepare and issue reports for client's senior management. Make sure all suitable meeting minutes are captured. Manage/Work closely with clients, design teams and contractors to optimize solutions. Demonstrate excellent verbal, numerical and report writing skills. Display flexiblility and have the ability to work to deadlines. Exhibit experience of project procurement and differing routes available. Demonstrate a track record in delivering high quality services from inception to completion, Ability to fully manage pre contract Scope including; designer tendering, design management through concept, schematic and detailed design stages, assist commercial management in preparation of BoQs, reviewing technical specifications, manage tender query responses, manage the PQQ process with support and input into value engineering at each design stage, lead the value engineering process Administer contracts for all project stakeholders (designer, general contractor and other suppliers). Ability to fully provide post contract scope and construction management, including progress tracking, contract administration, project controls, managing the process of planning and submission of all technical submittals, managing site inspections, procurement, testing, commissioning, preparation of weekly reports and monthly reports.
Skills and Qualifications
8 to 12 years of previous experience working in the Middle East - Experience in KSA is a plus Degree in related subject (BSc Construction or Project management) MCIOB/ PMP would be advantageous Experience in pre and post contract in fit-out projects for commercial offices Proficiency in using MS project to develop and update master schedules when and if needed Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to lead and manage a project team Full understanding of project management methodologies and tools Strong multi-tasking abilities and organizational skills Proficiency in using word, Excel, power point and other Microsoft Office programs to an advanced level. Hands-on approach is a must
