ob Title - Information Security - Senior Project Manager

Contract - 6 months Extendable

Location - Dubai , UAE

The Senior Project Manager for Information Security is responsible for leading and managing complex information security projects from conception through completion. This role involves strategic planning, robust project execution, and significant stakeholder engagement to ensure projects align with organizational cybersecurity goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities :

Lead the planning and implementation of information security projects, ensuring they are executed within time, budget, and scope constraints.

Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, incorporating detailed risk assessments, resource allocation, and milestone tracking specific to information security.

Facilitate regular communication across project teams and with key stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure network protection and data security solutions at cost-effective rates.

Proactively identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks across the IT landscape and develop robust mitigation strategies.

Establish and implement best practices for information security project management, including tools, techniques, and methodologies that enhance project outcomes.

Collaborate with the IT department to align information security projects with broader organizational IT strategies and initiatives.

Develop training programs for project team members on information security awareness and procedures.

Participate in executive meetings to report on project status and decision-making processes related to project direction.

Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and proactively address any discrepancies with proposed solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

Master's degree is a plus.

Extensive project management experience, specifically in managing information security or cybersecurity projects.

Strong leadership skills and proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Professional certifications such as Prince2, PMP, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.

Demonstrable experience of managing technical security projects and delivering end to end solutions such as EDR, Data Loss Prevention, Identity and Access Management, Microsoft E5 security suite etc.
