Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree : A bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Advanced Degree (optional but beneficial): A master's degree in civil engineering, construction management, business administration, or a specialized area can be advantageous.
• Work Experience :
• Typically, 10 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• At least 5 years in a project management role, managing large-scale projects and leading teams. (Abu Dhabi & Dubai exp. large projects)
• Professional Engineer (PE) License : Preferred, especially for roles with significant engineering oversight.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) : Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is highly beneficial and often required.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) : Certification from the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) can also be valuable.
• Society of Engineer & Abu Dhabi Classification Certificate

Technical Skills:

• Project Management Software : Proficiency in software such as MS Project, Primavera, and other project management and scheduling tools.
• Engineering Software : Familiarity with civil engineering design software
• Budgeting and Cost Control : Strong skills in financial management, budgeting, and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
• Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Supervise and mentor project teams, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient use of resources.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and updates.
• Address client concerns and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and adjust plans accordingly.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and resource optimization.
