Managing all aspects of the construction process, including manpower, materials, and equipment allocation to achieve project goals.
Coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual obligations.
Ensuring adherence to local regulations, building codes, company policies, and project-specific requirements.
Monitoring project progress and performance through regular site visits, progress reports, and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
Identifying potential project risks, proposing mitigation strategies, and implementing corrective actions to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Leading and motivating project teams to foster effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Preparing and reviewing project documentation, including contracts, method statements, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
Ensuring quality control measures are effectively implemented and maintained throughout all construction phases.
Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost control by optimizing resources and minimizing waste.
Handling procurement processes, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and a safe working environment.
Conducting regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to review progress, address challenges, and develop action plans.
Providing technical guidance and support to the construction team to resolve design and site-related issues promptly.
Reviewing and approving project variations, change orders, and claims in coordination with the commercial and contractual teams.
Ensuring smooth handover of completed projects to clients, including documentation, snag lists, and final inspections.
Keeping up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction, addressing concerns, and securing future business opportunities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum 18-23 years of experience in high-rise building construction, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role in Dubai.
