Role: Senior Project Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. Work with cross-functional teams to develop and document a common understanding of project requirements.
  • Manage Projects and Major tasks rollout in WBG, Treasury & Risk units, coordinate with vendors, business users and other stake holders to articulate and document business requirements, change requests, Data Gap Resolution Strategy and Data Feeder module design and development required for WBG, Treasury & Risk platforms projects from various banking source systems.
  • The role includes responsibility of project charter, resource and time estimation, oversee projects at the various stages along with effective team management, milestone tracking, risk management, preventive and corrective actions. Ensures that periodic updates are sent to stakeholders. Support "go-live\' and post \'go-live\' activities for projects and any releases to production.

Key Accountabilities of the role:
  • Deliver IT projects and tasks assigned for the agreed scoped business requirements, within planned budget, and planned time.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and document a common understanding of project requirements.
  • Determines how changing business needs will affect existing systems.
  • Comply with ADIB IT processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure business continuity by conducting periodic system health check, DR rehearsal, security updates, technology updates, backups, hardware maintenance, software maintenance, license maintenance, and technical design improvement to assigned systems
  • Support requests of information, dashboards, MBLs and adhoc reports related to assigned systems.
  • Maintain the service level of vendors support and quality of development.
  • Improve awareness and keep knowledge up-to-date about supported systems and related IT technology solutions.

Communication:
  • Attend all the team meetings, one to one meetings to have a high level of communication culture.
  • Timely response to email, tasks assigned and diligent follow-up with various stakeholders.
  • Prepare task status reports and submit to stakeholders on timely basis.

Documentation / Process Ownership:
  • The incumbent is responsible to comply with ADIB documentation and process standards that are defined SDLC.

Information Security:
  • Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment.
  • Report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge, Technical Competencies Required for this role:

Technical skills:
  • Hands on experience for Oracle 19c, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server.
  • Working experience in systems integration, data processing, hardware platforms, databases and application servers.
  • Advanced excel, word and PowerPoint skills.
  • Techno Functional and Business analysis skills.
  • Technical deployments in WebSphere and containerized environment having hands-on experience on Kubernetes, Docker images, and other containerization technologies.
  • Experience in Unix/Linux/Windows server management for technical analysis & deployment.
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud experience for infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge in SFTP and File Transfer tools like Go Anywhere etc.
  • Expertise in managing applications in .NET, Python & Java platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with IT specialists (e.g., IT security, network infrastructure teams, Unix, Windows etc.)

Specialist Skills:
  • Hands on experience & domain knowledge of Intellect - iGTB & iGCB products, KYC, Digital Onboarding,, SaS EFMS & IFRS9, Card Management, SWIFT, CRMNext, CBUAE systems, Payments, FX Solutions and associated Applications.
  • Must have experience of IBM-ESB/MQ Delivery methodology, ESB Center of excellence and
  • implementation of ESB best practices.
  • Must have experience of IBM WAS
  • Implementation of different WBG, Treasury & Risk Management Products for local or multi-national banks.
  • Extensive knowledge of systems integration, data processing, hardware platforms, databases and application servers.
  • Technical/Functional understanding of assigned application portfolio
  • Project Management / Scrum
  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Waterfall, Iterative, Agile (Scrum)
  • Analytical and strategic skills with strong presentation skills
  • Excellent Communications skills (written and verbal)

Previous experience:
  • Minimum 10-12 Years in banking (10 years in WBG, Treasury & Risk related Products and Project Implementation and Support in middle east).
  • Hand on Project Management Experience for WBG, Treasury & Risk Applications (Preferably for Intellect - iGTB & iGCB, SaS - EFMS & IFRS9, KYC, Digital Onboarding, CRMNext, SWIFT, Card Management, SWIFT, CBUAE systems, Payments, FX Solutions)
  • Technological skills covering the above-mentioned tools and technologies and vendor applications having minimum hands-on experience of atleast 8-10 years.
