What you will do
The Senior Project Engineer ESCO & CAAS is a key role directly reporting to Operations for Middle East region. You will be based in Dubai and will be a part of a growing team and be responsible for driving the growth of business for ESCO Systems.
You will be supporting the project management team on designing and execution of projects. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation.
How you will do it
As an Experienced Senior Project Engineer, you need to have a complex knowledge in designing and project execution of buildings mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC and Controls) to design and build the retrofit works required to deliver energy efficient and decarbonized buildings.. You will carry out site surveys for the assigned territory and involve subcontractors for installation works.
As a Senior Project Engineer you will prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects, monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications and you will interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
You will work closely with ESCO sales team to provide the necessary technical competencies to tailor energy solutions that are cost effective and brings value to JCI customers. You will use you strong networking, communication skills to leverage JCI offerings that leads to sustainable space to JCI customers.
What we look for
Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering - Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics.
• Minimum of 6 years project engineering experience in execution of Energy Projects
• Certified CEM, LEED professional is a must.
• 8+ years experience in building technology systems including and not limited to HVAC, BMS, etc. (Energy Solutions preferred)
• Must have good experience in retrofit jobs ( chillers, cooling towers etc)
• Leading Energy projects that involve future additions, retrofit, design improvement and assets life cycle to reduce /optimize energy consumption.
• Good interpersonal, negotiation, labor management and influencing skills.
• Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking and planning, project costing and execution skills.
• Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommending cost effective solutions.
• Proven ability to produce high quality and impactful professional documents for clients and internal use.
• Clear understanding of Contractual documents/obligations and preparation of official communications with Client/ Vendors.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
