:Senior Program ManagerAbu Dhabi, UAEWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to provide direction and management for medium-sized projects or several small projects. The successful candidate will ensure on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for scope development, scope management, and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives. This role requires in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies, as well as familiarity with the integration of engineering/technical aspects, procurement, and construction activities. Typically, this level of Senior Program Manager manages projects up to AED 200 million in total installed cost.What Youll Be Doing
Act as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during program execution.
Negotiate changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
Participate in discussions with external authorities and in public meetings in support of clients where necessary.
Implement Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other required documents.
Establish program requirements for all areas of the project and monitor draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
Develop and distribute a one to two-page description of the project to all members of the project team for reference.
Plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
Assign responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of their qualifications and strengths.
Provide input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
Mobilize company resources through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries to create a project team capable of completing effective, quality work.
Discuss the qualifications required of key project positions in specific detail with the line manager.
Work with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to manage budgets, schedules, and plans for various elements of a project. Ensure that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans.
Work with the line manager to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advise the client and company management of any such changes.
Maintain current and timely change orders.
Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through the application of Quality Assurance processes.
Monitor and report to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions that would affect project cost or schedule.
Establish weekly meetings to review project status and formulate action items.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills Youll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a related technical/business field.
20+ years of related engineering management experience on large-scale programs.
Broad general technical and business background.
Professional registration may also be required.
Must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
Ability to manage projects, interface with clients, and enjoy being hands-on technically in the project.
Thorough knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Must be knowledgeable of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
Proven ability to perform in a management capacity with excellent written and oral communication skills.
