We are hiring for a prestigious entity in Abu Dhabi Role: Senior Procurement Specialist Location: Abu Dhabi Duration: 6 months ( possible extension )The Procurement Senior Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process. Qualification and skills: The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Bachelor\'s degree in science, engineering, or management;
SAP E-Procurement hands-on experience is desirable.
Procurement and supply-chain-related Certifications preferred (CIPS, ISM, etc)
Strong understanding of contractual approach to procurement, procurement terminology, and negotiation techniques.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex terms clearly and effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate contractual risks.
Industry Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in tendering, and bidding. Key Responsibilities: The duties include sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate should possess prior expertise in reviewing/analyzing the scope of requirements, creating a Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing schedule, drafting tender documents, issuing expressions of interest (EOI), requesting proposals or tenders (RFP/RFT), conducting technical and commercial evaluations, negotiating contracts, making award recommendations, preparing agreement documents, managing post-contract administration, and being well-versed in terms and conditions. Additionally, below is a brief overview of the key responsibilities:
Sourcing and Negotiation:
Identify potential suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and prices.
Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery speed.
Procurement Process Management:
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process.
Develop and implement procurement strategies.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues.
Cost Control and Budgeting:
Monitor and control procurement budgets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze procurement data and trends.
Prepare and present procurement reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments such as Customers, End-Users, finance, operations, and legal.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on procurement regulations and industry best practices.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
