We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Procurement professional with a focus on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) purchasing to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in procurement within the construction industry, with a strong background in MEP materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the procurement of MEP materials, equipment, and services for construction projects. Develop and maintain relationships with sub-contractor & suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery schedules. Prepare and review procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and RFQs (Request for Quotations). Collaborate with project management teams to identify procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets. Monitor procurement processes to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulations. Evaluate sub-contractor & supplier performance, conduct regular market research, and identify new suppliers. Resolve any procurement-related issues with sub-contractor & suppliers and ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in MEP procurement within the construction industry. Strong understanding of MEP materials, equipment, and systems used in construction projects. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and construction regulations.
