We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement professional with a focus on Civil Purchasing to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in procurement, specifically within the construction sector, and will be responsible for managing the sub-contractor & purchasing of civil materials, services, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage procurement activities for civil projects, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services. Develop and maintain relationships with sub-contractor & suppliers, ensuring the best quality, price, and delivery terms. Prepare and review procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and RFQs (Request for Quotations). Monitor and track procurement schedules and deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective execution. Work closely with the project management team to identify procurement needs and ensure alignment with project timelines and budget. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and local regulations. Conduct market research to identify new sub-contractor & suppliers and evaluate their reliability and performance. Resolve any procurement-related issues and manage sub-contractor & supplier performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of procurement experience, with at least 5 years in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of civil materials, equipment, and construction services. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and regulations.
