Job Responsibilities: Planning of man hour budgets, schedules, manpower loadings and staffing requirements, by skill and experience, to satisfy project requirements and direction given by the Discipline Manager. Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences. Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training. Assists in the employee performance review process. Facilitates coverage of activities when people leave the team. Encourages knowledge of and compliance with requirements and processes. Works to resolve inter-discipline, vendor, and customer issues. Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements
Participate in project execution strategy and planning. Knows the project and discipline scope/cost/time requirements, ensures the team to meets the expectations, and liaises with other disciplines to ensure project success. Supports management of project change and progressing for the discipline and works with the Project Management Team to take corrective actions regarding any issues, staffing requirements, scope changes, progressing, or other events that could affect project completion and/or profitability. Quality Assurance Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems. Work with project managers/project engineers to ensure all projects are set up and executed in full compliance with all the requirements of the Worley Project Management Process (WPMP) and General Management System (EMS) using consistent approaches, Work Breakdown Structures, work methodologies and reporting systems Monitors the closure of all identified risks and opportunities. Safety Responsible for personal safety safe working practices. Understand and follow OH&S procedures Promoting health, safety and environmental awareness. Qualifications:
Job Specific Knowledge: Demonstrate a visible and active commitment to HSE management and its associated requirements in a project environment Extensive knowledge of Shell DEP's, API Standards (API-520, API-521, API-14C, API-14E) and statutory and regulatory requirements and a good understanding of onshore and offshore engineering practices applicable to process design for oil and gas/refinery/petrochemical facilities. Experience in various phases of project life cycle; feasibility/concept studies, FEED, detail engineering, EPIC. Experience in Gas processing, gas treatment, LNG, LPG, gas compression, GTL, refinery, offshore Experience of leading debottlenecking and revamp studies Excellent report writing skills. Extensive knowledge of process simulation packages such as HYSYS, PROII, Flarenet Proficiency in PFD / P & ID & datasheet development Offshore experience is an advantage Proficiency in equipment sizing (pumps, vessels, exchangers, etc) and hydraulic calculations Extensive experience in pipeline modeling using Pipesim, pipeline studio, Pipephase, Pipenet is an advantage Industry Specific Experience: Extensive work experience at a senior level within the Oil & Gas industry. Must have design experience within the oil and gas industry, with last 5 years' at least, leading a team of process discipline engineers and designers Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the process discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams. Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Full-Time Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university MME (Ministry of Municipality and Environment) engineering accreditation is a mandatory requirement. Candidates not holding this accreditation must be willing to achieve this within the probationary period. HSE Capability: Maintain HSE focus with the team to ensure OHSE requirements.
