:Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Process Designer to be in Sharjah, United Arab EmiratesResponsibilities:

• Carry out assigned Process design work as part of a multi-discipline project team
• Will be required to perform site surveys and data gathering exercises at various project locations as per business needs
• To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project's, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements.
• Should be proficient in P&ID As built activities.
• Produce 2D drawings in AutoCAD
• Knowledge of SPPID is preferable
• Preparation and checking of all types of Process design deliverables such as BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, MSDs and Process Safeguarding Diagrams
• To assist in the preparation of line lists and tie-in lists
• To assist in the coordination of all activities related to the discipline
• To promote safe behavior at all times

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering
• Minimum of 10 - 14 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry
• Previous experience working on Iraq projects is preferable
• Previous Wood experience preferred
• Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Aveva, SPPID
• Experience in Conceptual, FEED and Detailed Design is required
• Experience in the preparation and co-ordination of Process design deliverables
• Compliance with industry, international and Client Codes and standards. Onshore Oil and Gas related Process design experience
• A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation
