Job Description

Overview: The Senior Principal Structural Engineer is responsible for integrating with the structural team and working on various projects for multiple clients. The role includes overseeing structural engineering tasks in the Front End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) phases. The Senior Principal Structural Engineer provides leadership, technical expertise, and coordination to ensure project success and adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and integrate the structural engineering team across different projects and clients.

Provide technical expertise and guidance on structural engineering for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases of projects.

Perform structural analysis and design, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Utilize structural engineering software such as SACS for analysis and design of offshore structures.

Prepare and review engineering documents, drawings, calculations, and specifications.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Oversee quality control processes for structural engineering deliverables.

Mentor and support junior structural engineers within the team.

Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Liaise with clients to understand project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

Participate in project reviews, design optimization, and risk management processes. Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Certifications / Specialization / IT Skills:

Proficiency in SACS software is required; knowledge of other structural analysis tools is a plus.

Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to structural engineering. Experience:

Minimum of 12 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in the oil and gas or infrastructure sector. Technical Knowledge:

Strong structural engineering background with expertise in FEED, design, and EPC phases.

In-depth knowledge of structural design principles and relevant industry standards.

Requirements:

Experience with offshore structural design, including jackets, topsides, and subsea structures. Ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality structural solutions under tight deadlines.
