Lead the integration of UAS components, subsystems, and payloads, coordinating activities with design engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Plan and execute comprehensive testing and validation procedures for integrated UAS systems, including functional testing, performance testing, and flight testing, to verify system functionality and compliance with specifications.
Identify and resolve technical issues, anomalies, and performance discrepancies encountered during integration and testing activities, employing troubleshooting techniques and root cause analysis to implement effective solutions.
Prepare detailed documentation, reports, and technical specifications on integration and testing activities, documenting test results, observations, and recommendations for further analysis and improvement.
Perform inventory actions, UAS equipment labelling, packaging, preservation, handling and stores actions according to standard facility policies and procedures
Perform UAS maintenance activities in order to ensure that all UAS scheduled and on-demand maintenance activities are performed on schedule
Implement all OEM special technical manual and instructions correctly
Take part in any internal and external quality assurance audits that might take place in UAS facility context
Education & Experience:
Associate degree or technical certification in Aerospace Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Bachelor\'s degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in integration and testing roles, with demonstrated expertise in UAS or aerospace systems integration.
Proficiency in UAS systems, components, and subsystems, including avionics, propulsion, payloads, and communication systems.
Strong hands-on experience with integration tools, equipment, and testing methodologies, such as bench testing, ground testing, and flight testing.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols for UAS operations, including FAA regulations and airspace restrictions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
