Working for the world\'s 3rd largest global supplier of transport and logistics can open many opportunities for you to develop your career on an international scale.The Senior Pricing Specialist role is to procure and negotiate buy rates for DSV business in line with the market and in a manner that positions DSV to have a higher win ratio on all pricing bids. The Pricing Specialist is analytical, characterized by a high attention to detail, accuracy, ability to meet deadlines and work with large and complex pricing files.Detailed Responsibilities:

• Manage and respond to spot quotation requests as well as RFQs in line with customer\'s need for FCL, LCL, Air, OOG (including Project cargo)
• Manage the timelines and submission dates effectively
• Coordinate for competitive buy rates with carriers and other key stakeholders
• Effectively communicate with carriers and build relationships with key decision makers
• Be accountable for content, quality and review of customer requirements, documents
• Play a key role in the development of Pricing / Tender Management services to drive efficiencies and innovation
• Manage feedback from customers analyzing the responses to understand the impact on current key trade lanes
• Develop a board understanding of market rates and dynamics
• Monitor and update commercial price lists
• Identifies opportunities to optimize sales and profitability through pricing strategies
• Collaborate with main stakeholders in line with pricing desk processes and requirements
• Establish strong relationships with various internal and external stakeholders
• Establish pricing levels in accordance with company guidelines
• Be able to acknowledge and understand company capabilities and identify improvement areas where needed
• Other tasks assigned by management

For RFPs/RFQs -Key responsibilities are:

• Dissect and review tender documents in detail and validate summaries
• Convert customer rate sheet into internal rate format (if not already done so by Global Tender team)
• Identify what costs/rates need to be procured and what can be sourced from core tender database
• Initiate procurement for the relevant services offered to customer
• Convert rate/cost input from DSV stakeholders into customer rate sheets

Qualifications & Characteristics:

• Min 5 years of experience working in Pricing in the Freight Forwarding industry.
• Strong data analysis, problem solving and strategy development skills
• Proven ability to create and coordinate tender proposals / pricing inquiries
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Detail oriented and accurate
• Shipping / Freight Forwarding experience is a value add
• Result Driven and Business minded
• Good communication and organization skills
• Ability to define requirements, analyse facts, and determine relevant solutions/actions to be taken
