Major Accountabilities:

• Supervise the planning function during design and/or construction stages of assigned project/projects.
• Prepare initial network of activities in simplified form for project programme.
• Maintain critical path diagrams and computer analysis of programme to ensure project target dates are met.
• Prepare regular status reports and forecasts for project management and client review.
• Supervise and develop other planning and specialist support staff at home and/or field office locations.
• Establish and maintain activity level integration between P6 and Project Management Reporting tool.
• Maintain the current and baseline schedule, analyze the effect of proposed changes and maintain the baseline change control authorization process
• Quality Assurance \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the middle east environment.
• Safety \xe2\x80\x93 Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Qatar Location. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required

Job Specific Knowledge:

• Knowledge of workflow of deferent stages of Engineering and Construction
• Industry Specific Experience:
• Relevant industry planning/scheduling experience.

Qualifications

Education \xe2\x80\x93 Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

\xc2\xb7 Any bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Relevant industry experience - understanding of the engineering environment and associated deliverables.

\xc2\xb7 Familiarity and knowledge of project control database methods (specifically InControl).

\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational ability and effective communication across all levels of staff.

\xc2\xb7 Progressive attitude to move with technological advances and continually improve procedures.
