Job Title: Senior Planning Engineer Job Overview: As a Planning Engineer for our Fit-Out Company in Dubai, you will play a crucial role in the successful planning and execution of fit-out projects. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed within the specified timelines and budgetary constraints. Responsibilities: Project Planning:
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines for fit-out projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand
- Ensure alignment of project schedules with overall business objectives and client
- Identify and allocate resources required for each project phase.
- Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials and
- Optimize resource utilization to maximize project efficiency.
- Regularly monitor project progress against established schedules.
- Identify and highlight the potential delays or roadblocks and propose solutions to keep
- Provide timely updates to project stakeholders on schedule status.
- Anticipate and identify potential risks that may impact project schedules.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to address and resolve issues promptly.
- Facilitate effective communication between different project teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular meetings to review project schedules, discuss challenges, and provide
- Prepare and present reports on project progress to management and clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules and documentation.
- Ensure that all project-related documents are organized and easily accessible.
- Prepare reports and analysis on project timelines and completion.
- Work with the quality assurance team to integrate quality control measures into the
- Ensure that all project activities adhere to quality standards and guidelines.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent English & Arabic language is required.
- Ability to visit the site around the UAE on regular basis per week.
- Having driving license and a car to facilitate the site transportation.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the fit-out or construction industry.
- Proficient in project management software tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local regulations and construction practices in Dubai.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
