Job Purpose:To accomplish core functional planning tasks within Operational Planning. Ensuring the continuous support for delivering to the business the technical and production outputs required to ensure that the Emirates Fleet of aircraft maintained to the highest standards in line with all legislative requirements pertaining to the functional area.Job Outline:
Compile and close aircraft maintenance work packages from the computer control system in order to ensure compliance of maintenance requirements within the specified limits. Review and issue Bills of Materials and Tools (BOM, BOT) prior to issuing work packages and ensure that any shortages are highlighted to the Planning Officer for necessary action.
Notify the Production Planning section for pre-loading of spares and tooling requirements. Ensure that all task card attachments including all Airworthiness Directives, EO's, SEWC's, component changes and out of phase task requirements are included in appropriate work packages and the correct revision, equally ensuring that all systems recording the accomplishment of maintenance are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in preparation and control of modification projects in order to ensure all campaign change modifications are completed on time. Review on time delivery of spares and tools against the campaign plan - notify PE of any issues.
Ensure the updating and publishing of the balanced scorecard reports and support the section with changes to the daily allocation and other scheduling reports. Supporting the planning of MDC's and Aircraft cosmetic wash programmes to enable the achievement of the corporate targets.
Support assigned section by ensuring that all work assigned is carried out diligently, accurately and ensuring that all SLAs are met by the section.
Support assigned section by creating reports and supporting documentation as requirement to enable accomplishment of adhoc requests and customer support.
Support assigned section by ensuring that all filing, data deliveries and data cleansing is accomplished to support the productive output of the teams.
Participate and contribute to projects and planning activities that continuously improve the product delivered by the department.
Qualifications:
12 Years schooling or equivalent
Experience:
Experience in Engineering Planning 3+ Years
Knowledge/skills:
In Workshops, Aircraft Maintenance, Production Planning, Main Stores, Technical Records or related environment.
Good understanding of Aircraft documentation and records including AMM, IPC, Work Packages and Maintenance Schedules.
Knowledge of aircraft systems, power plant and components.
Good knowledge of computer applications (e.g. MS Office).
Knowledge of Ultramain is an advantage.
