Overview:

We are seeking a motivated paralegal to join our in-house team. This role involves conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining legal files, and assisting with document execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal concepts, procedures, and documentation, along with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Our focus includes AI incubation, IP creation, applied AI R&D, and AI investment products. By creating models tailored to specific domains and languages, we ensure superior accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and renewing a variety of contracts, including client agreements, vendor contracts, and confidentiality agreements.
• Conduct legal research on relevant topics, statutes, and case law to support legal opinions and strategy development.
• Maintain and update contract management systems and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date contract records.
• Assist in the preparation of legal documents such as briefing letters addressed to external lawyers & legal notices, arrange the service of such notices, obtain proofs of delivery, dispatch the same to the concerned parties and maintain legal records of the same.
• Support the incorporation of new entities within the Inception Group.
• Assist with the finalization of agreements by performing miscellaneous tasks including preparing comparison documents and collating enclosures to be attached with the agreements.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and legal documents, as required, and review low risk contracts assigned.
• Ensure that legal records and corporate information at Inception are maintained and updated on a regular basis.
• Support the drafting of legal & corporate governance documents/correspondence and verify legal paperwork to ensure the accuracy of information.
• Manage the signing of contracts, document management, tracking and safe keeping of original agreements.
• Provide miscellaneous administrative support such as organizing internal/external meetings and assistance with IT matters.
• Review incoming correspondence and provide advice about relevant deadlines & notices, providing reminders where necessary.
• Ensure all the legal related software are renewed and updated in a timely manner.
• Carry out legal research as required by the General Counsel or Deputy General Counsel.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably requested by the General Counsel or Deputy General Counsel.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Law (completed or in process), Paralegal Studies or related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within a corporate environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.



Preferred Qualifications:• Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a global technology company or a law firm.
• Strong understanding of contract law and intellectual property concepts.
• Proficient in conducting legal research and using legal research tools.
• Familiarity with contract management systems and databases.
• Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of the UAE.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
