Purpose of the Job

The Logistics Ecommerce Operations Leader will manage and oversee all aspects of fulfillment center operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely order processing. This role will focus on optimizing logistics processes, managing a team of warehouse staff, and implementing strategies to enhance performance and customer satisfaction

Job Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
• Oversee daily fulfillment center operations: receiving, warehousing, order processing, and shipping.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, and inventory turnover.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop warehouse staff and supervisors.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and support.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
Process Optimization
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Use data and analytics for decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Manage inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
Customer Experience
• Ensure high standards of order accuracy and timeliness.
• Resolve order fulfillment and customer satisfaction issues.
• Collaborate with other departments to align fulfillment with business goals.
Technology and Systems
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to streamline operations.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to recommend new solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the fulfillment system.
Budget and Resource Management
• Develop and manage operational budgets, including labor, equipment, and inventory costs.
• Optimize resource allocation to meet demands and cost constraints.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and center upkeep.
Job Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in logistics, warehousing, or e-commerce, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with fulfillment center operations and WMS.
