Job Summary: Key Engineering Role within the business to lead discipline performance on projects & to provide expert technical design leadership and design assurance on projects as required.
Key Responsibilities: · Feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, detail design, procurement support, construction, testing and commissioning. · Familiarity with international codes, standards and industry guidelines such as ASME, API, BS, DIN, ASTM, IP, AGA, ISO, NACE, DEP etc. · Preparation of reports, calculations, specifications, datasheets, route selection/survey and preparation of route maps and alignment drawings. · Must have a sound technical knowledge of wall thickness, buoyancy, buckling and pipe laying calculations, road crossing design, hydrostatic test calculations and drawings, hot tapping design work including calculations, upheaval buckling calculations, stress analysis for both above ground and below ground systems, process design, knowledge on hydraulic analysis, upstream and downstream systems, block valve stations and all layout drawings. The candidate shall have technical exposure to applicable codes & standards in sustainable energy projects, i.e. transportation and carbon capture, utilization & storage (CCUS). Must have on-job experience on Ammonia (NH3), Hydrogen (H2) and CO2 transportation pipelines, storage technologies and associated shipping facilities. The candidate should be able to work on FEED and Detail Design projects or EPC projects.
Skills Required: · 10 -15 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience. · Advantage Previous experience in the Region · Sound knowledge in MS Office and CAESAR II. Minimum 3+ years of experience in sustainable energy projects (transportation and carbon capture, utilization & storage (CCUS)).
