Senior Officer Pharmacy Procurement

Job Description

• Maintain order and stock master records, ensure accurate records of purchases, pricing, and contracts.
• Procure all required pharmaceutical items, follow up for delivers, ensures no late deliveries with suppliers.
• Conduct demand forecasting and demand planning.
• Negotiate prices and contract terms with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ensuring that the integrity of Data within ERP and EMR Systems is up to par with the current agreement with vendors, Inventory levels, current price, vendor sources etc.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain, including supply disruptions, product recalls, and quality issues.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to resolve inventory and delivery discrepancies.
• Stay up to date with changing regulations and requirements in the healthcare industry, especially those related to pharmaceuticals.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
• Implement inventory control and management systems to reduce costs and prevent product expiry.

• Bachelor's Degree in the filed of Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
• Master's degree will be an advantage.
• 3-5 years' experience in relevant role or relevant field of pharmacy experience in UAE will be an advantage.
