MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLETo optimize network performance and forecasting accuracy, while supporting and developing Network Planning systems, as the Subject Matter Expert and systems administrator, integrating data sources, conducting market calibration, and enhancing decision-making.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fulfils the role of Subject Matter Expert and systems administrator for the Network Planning systems.
• Ensures that cross platform assumptions used in demand forecasting, such as Market Share parameters, are routinely tested to reflect FZ network characteristics and deployed consistently.
• Conducts regular market calibration exercises to forecast and update Origin & Destination (O&D) market sizes.
• Collaborates with Network Planning, Finance, and Revenue Management teams to maintain cost databases for routes, aircraft, and fare information.
• Plans and executes user acceptance testing of system releases across platforms, managing vendor interactions.
• Investigates and integrates new data sources to improve forecasts, develop scripts for automated calibration processes and data management.
• Explores developing technologies such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, to enhance calibration and forecasting accuracy.
• Utilizes decision support tools to analyze the impact of capacity deployment changes, schedule adjustments, aircraft swaps, and new route launches.
• Provides assistance with other network planning projects as and when required.
