Our client is Dubai\'s first integrated academic health system, consisting of 6 hospitals, 26 health centers, a medical university, and a research foundation, all aimed at advancing healthcare and improving lives.We are looking for a Senior Officer - Facilities Management for a 1-year extendable contract. Who will be responsible for managing and supervising all building related works, including maintenance and execution of projects across civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines. The role also ensures that all building related works are performed according to company\'s approved safety and management standards, policies and procedures, statutory and contractual requirementsResponsibilities:
Provides technical support and advice on day to day management of all building and maintenance activities.
Manages all facility related work including but not limited to HVAC servicing, lift maintenance, painting, electrical systems, drainage, water treatment etc. and ensures that they are done regularly, timely and as per the desired quality level.
Coordinates with contractors /consultants/ vendors to ensure that projects are delivered as per the required standards and timeframe; reviews their performance as per the Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Conducts regular visits and period inspections to the facilities premises to identify and facilitate requirements, in order to avoid any disruption of services or operations.
Manages and maintains document control systems for the facilities and maintenance information for tracking purposes, and highlights any deficiencies on a regular basis.
Monitors and controls the inventory of supplies and equipment; order supplies and tools as necessary; prepares documents for equipment procurement; prepares specifications and contracts for contract services.
Manages and supervises the activities and work flow of team, to ensure that assignments are executed efficiently and as per the timeframe required; directs the work of the team and ensures quick turnaround time.
Provides regular reports related to facility management activities and achievements to the Senior Management and highlights any issues to delays regarding the same.
Prepare summary reports and presnetations related to the asset management plan based on maintenance schedules, plans and developments plans related to maintenance.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Healthcare, Facility Management and Health & Safety roles
Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred
