Job Title:Senior Network Security EngineerLocation: Abu Dhabi, NONEEmployment Type:Contract We are looking for a skilled Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team on a 6 MONTH CONTRACT and enhance our network security posture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Routing and Switching, and Cisco LAN/Wi-Fi solutions.You will be responsible for configuring and implementing security measures, including F5 load balancers, and applying a security-first mindset to our network architecture. Understanding concepts like micro-segmentation is essential to ensure our networks are secure against potential threats.Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, implement, and maintain Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls to ensure optimal security and performance.
• Design and implement secure network architectures, applying best practices to minimize risks and enhance security.
• Support and manage Cisco Routing and Switching (R+S) environments, ensuring reliable connectivity and security across the network.
• Oversee the security of Cisco LAN and Wi-Fi networks, implementing necessary measures to protect against unauthorized access.
• Deploy and manage F5 load balancers to optimize application delivery and enhance security.
• Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities, understand potential risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Implement micro-segmentation strategies to limit lateral movement within the network, reducing the attack surface.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, security policies, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security policies are understood and implemented across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, Cisco R+S, and LAN/Wi-Fi.
• Strong knowledge of network security protocols, configurations, and best practices; experience with F5 load balancers is a plus.
• Deep understanding of security principles and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks in network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with micro-segmentation concepts and their application in enhancing network security.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically about network security challenges.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
