Job Description
Mark Williams is recruiting for a Senior Network Engineer for a leading for a tier-1 regional bank in Dubai.Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain smooth operations of the bank's IT network services, ensuring system performance, backup, and recovery
- Lead technical validation of network solutions and architecture in an enterprise environment
- Provide expertise in routing, switching, and cloud networking technologies
- Drive network transformations, migrations, and the adoption of software-defined networks (SDN) and SDWAN technologies
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers for network hardware, software, and carrier services
- Ensure compliance with information security policies and ITIL processes for change and configuration management
- Monitor network performance and enable maximum uptime for IT network and voice infrastructureRequirements:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level IT network infrastructure
- Proficient in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, DMVPN, IPSEC, GRE) and WAN optimization (e.g., Riverbed, Silver Peak)
- Hands-on experience with Aruba Wireless, SolarWinds, and network security tools (e.g., Checkpoint, ASA, F5)
- Advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Ansible
- Strong troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark
