Responsible to supervise corrective / preventive maintenance of the MEP Equipment installed in the DIA Facility including coordination with the relevant sections in DA and external authorities along with troubleshooting of the same.\xc2\xa7 Ensure completion of the routine checks and PPM Tasks activities related to the MEP Systems.\xc2\xa7 Performs preventive maintenance, repairs and/or replaces assigned HVAC equipment, including pneumatic and electronic\xc2\xa7 Diagnoses, troubleshoots refrigeration and air conditioner equipment and makes necessary repairs\xc2\xa7 Operates, diagnoses, analyzes and records findings on all HVAC equipment including boilers, chillers, pumps, motors, air handling units and cooling towers\xc2\xa7 Inspects fire and smoke alarm systems regularly, making necessary minor adjustments and making recommendations for major adjustments to the supervisor\xc2\xa7 Diagnoses, troubleshoots electrical failures and issues, makes necessary repairs and/or works with contractors to solve issues\xc2\xa7 Creates, and edits control schedules for the campus HVAC system\xc2\xa7 Analyzes future projects to assure all MEP has been captured for the project and reports these finding to supervisor\xc2\xa7 Compiles information with concerns to deferred maintenance; (Age of equipment, numbers of break downs, annual cost to maintain)\xc2\xa7 Inspects jobsites to assure all MEP has been properly installed\xc2\xa7 Ensures proper safety procedures are complied with as per company policies and procedures\xc2\xa7 Monitors, implements and coordinates provisions of the premises emergency management plans\xc2\xa7 May perform generator service and maintenance, including but not limited to: oil filters, electrical connections and hydraulic components\xc2\xa7 Ensures the building is ready in all areas of assigned responsibility to include: lights, general maintenance and HVAC; replacing lamps and ballasts as needed\xc2\xa7 Contributes to a safe educational and working environment by participating in all drills and training and being prepared to take action should a health or safety emergency occur\xc2\xa7 Perform other duties as assigned.\xc2\xa7 Assist supervisor in report preparation.QualificationsEducation/Qualifications
Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard) is a must and Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th Standard) is desirable.
6 months Vocational Education in the Relevant Trade OR 1 year/ 2 years ITI is a must.
