Even if you feel you do not fulfill all the criteria below, please apply as you may still be the best candidate for this role or another role within our organisation.Project: Be a part of our international consultancy business that spans our five global hubs, where we oversee work for world-leading organisations across the public and private sectors.Our Middle East and North Africa hub started in 1998 and has successfully operated in a wide range of countries, delivering project and programme management and cost consultancy services.Your responsibilities will include:Reviewing of consultant and contractor designs.Providing input into all aspects of the procurement process including preparation of briefs and bid documentation, prequalification of consultants/contractors, and the bid/appointment process.Providing input into the development of the MEP schedule and reviewing contractor submissions.Managing technical coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and utility providers.Reviewing of pre-construction documentation provided by the contractor including shop drawings, material/ equipment submittals and samples, quality plans, and method statements.Reviewing of construction progress including programme and quality control/auditing.Reviewing all testing and commissioning activities and liaising with the independent commissioning authority.Being responsible for the development of project MEP close-out strategy and review of documentation such as record drawings and O&M manuals provided by the contractor.Supporting the commercial team in the valuation of works, change control, or claims.Assisting in the production of project reports.About youYou hold a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering, you are able to lead MEP teams on multiple projects, discipline-specific professional registration preferred (CIBSE, IMechE, MEIT, PMI), you have the ability to manage multiple MEP works packages in parallel, have in-depth knowledge of all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and expert knowledge in specific areas.You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and lead strong, motivated teams.
