Senior MEP Engineer (Minimum 7 Years UAE Experience)

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated MEP Engineer to join our team in the dynamic and challenging construction environment of the UAE. If you have a proven track record of success in delivering complex MEP projects and possess at least 7 years of experience working within the UAE, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of mechanical and plumbing systems for a variety of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, analyse project requirements, and develop optimal MEP system solutions that are energy-efficient, sustainable, and meet local UAE building codes and regulations.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, calculations, and specifications for MEP systems using industry-standard design software.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with the overall project design.
• Oversee and manage the work of MEP subcontractors, ensuring quality of work and adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify and address MEP system installation issues promptly, and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in MEP technologies, materials, and UAE building regulations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of project quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) plans for MEP systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience working as a Mechanical Engineer within the UAE construction industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of MEP system design, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and systems.
• Proficiency in using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, such as Revit.
• Strong understanding of UAE building codes and regulations (e.g., Dubai Municipality Building Code).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Fluency in English, Arabic language skills a plus.
