Senior Mechanical Engineer - Power Plant - Site RoleLocation:ILF-UAE Water & Energie (ILF-UEW), United Arab EmiratesAvailable:nowPosted:11-27-2024 : Manage and oversee power plant mechanical construction and commissioning activities.Supervise the EPCM Contractor's construction activities.Coordinate with the Client, Contractors, and ILF back office.Participate in required meetings and work under the Project Manager's direction.Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports.Perform site reviews, field walk downs, and identify applicable existing customer documents/drawings.Review drawings/documents related to power plant systems (GT, Fuel gas supply, BOP, Firefighting, HVAC, etc.).Maintain the interface between Employer, EPCM Contractor Site Supervision Team, and Employer's engineering follow-up team.Ensure compliance with quality standards and HSSE requirements.Attend site inspections, clear punch lists, and review daily reports of Executing Companies.Application Requirements: 15+ years of relevant professional experience, with 10 years as a Mechanical Engineer.Knowledgeable in all mechanical fields and their applications.Previous experience in contracts associated with EPCM projects in power plants.At least 5 years of consultancy experience.Middle East experience is preferred.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
