6+ Years of UAE experience in Villa/Fitout is Mandatory & UAE Driving license too

Key Responsibilities :

• Design & Planning
• Lead the mechanical design and coordination for villa and fitout projects, ensuring the integration of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that designs meet project specifications and requirements.
• Prepare mechanical design calculations, drawings, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and regulations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to ensure cost-effective solutions and efficient use of resources.
• Project Management
• Oversee and manage mechanical engineering tasks for villa and fitout projects, ensuring the timely delivery of all mechanical systems.
• Monitor project progress and adjust designs or schedules as necessary to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (e.g., electrical, civil) to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
• Lead site inspections and surveys to assess the site conditions and make recommendations for mechanical system designs and installations.
• Supervision & Coordination
• Supervise mechanical engineers and other technical staff, providing guidance and ensuring quality control throughout the design and implementation phases.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the proper installation of mechanical systems in line with design specifications.
• Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals from subcontractors.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations during the design and construction of mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure that mechanical systems are installed according to the approved designs and specifications.
• Review test results and perform necessary adjustments to ensure systems operate effectively and efficiently.
• Cost Control & Budget Management
• Monitor project costs and assist in budgeting for mechanical works, ensuring projects stay within financial constraints.
• Provide technical advice on cost-effective solutions and alternative materials or methods that do not compromise quality or safety.
• Assist with the procurement of mechanical materials and equipment, ensuring optimal performance at the best cost.
• Client & Stakeholder Communication
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns related to mechanical systems.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients, contractors, and management.
• Offer expert advice and solutions to resolve technical challenges and ensure client satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years working on villa, residential, or fitout projects.
• Licenses/Certifications : Professional Engineering Certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) or membership in a recognized engineering body (e.g., UAE Society of Engineers) is preferred.
• Technical Skills :
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
• Proficiency in mechanical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Trane, or similar).
• In-depth understanding of UAE building codes and regulations.
• Ability to perform detailed calculations and analyses for mechanical systems.
• Soft Skills :
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience working on high-end residential, villa, or luxury fitout projects in the UAE.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and energy-efficient mechanical systems.
