Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and take on a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and solutions for a wide variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical engineering design, project management, and team leadership. In this role, you will work on innovative projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide high-level technical guidance to junior engineers and other staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:

Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, structural components, and other mechanical equipment. Create detailed mechanical drawings, models, and specifications.

Project Management:

Manage and oversee mechanical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and meeting quality standards. Prepare project schedules, allocate resources, and track progress.

Collaboration & Leadership:

Collaborate with other engineering teams (electrical, civil, etc.), architects, and contractors to ensure successful project execution. Provide mentorship and leadership to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Technical Expertise:

Provide technical expertise in solving complex mechanical engineering challenges. Ensure designs are efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise during the design and implementation phases.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and building codes. Conduct thorough quality control and risk assessments on all designs and projects.

Client & Stakeholder Interaction:

Communicate with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs, present designs, and offer technical solutions. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external purposes.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive continuous improvements in processes, designs, and methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree

in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred).

5+ years of experience

in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design, development, and project management. Strong proficiency in mechanical design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA. Solid understanding of mechanical systems, components, and materials. Experience in leading teams and managing projects from conception to completion. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with clients, vendors, and other engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Engineer (PE) License. Experience in industries such as aerospace, automotive, manufacturing, or HVAC. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building standards.
