A well reputed construction company based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Senior Mechanical BIM Modeller. The ideal candidate shall possess 6 to 8 years of UAE/Gulf experience in the design and development of mechanical systems for our precast villa and building projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure the effective integration of mechanical designs into the overall project.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs and resolve potential clashes.
Review and optimize mechanical designs for performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
Conduct quality checks on BIM models and deliverables to uphold project standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and other relevant stakeholders.
Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements to improve modeling processes.
Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
Minimum 6 years of experience in mechanical BIM modeling, specifically within precast villa and building construction projects.
Proficient in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
Strong understanding of mechanical systems design and relevant codes/standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
