Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.Primary objectiveThe Engineer shall have the ability to produce piping material specifications for a project, in accordance with Industry Design Codes. The Engineer shall have adequate experience to adopt a practical approach to piping material problems and be familiar with the requirements/interactions of other engineering disciplines.Specific Accountabilities\xc2\xb7 Coordination and implementation of Piping material and engineering activities.\xc2\xb7 Maintaining design integrity and quality within the business unit/project team.\xc2\xb7 Appraisal, training, and development of personnel.\xc2\xb7 Promoting health, safety, and environmental awareness.\xc2\xb7 Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the BUs.\xc2\xb7 Safety - Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.Essential Skills/Experience\xc2\xb7 Capable of producing specifications for Piping materials, Valves and Special Piping items.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of Industry Piping Design codes, Pipe Fitting codes and Valve codes.\xc2\xb7 Experience in piping engineering including pipe wall thickness calculations, branch connection reinforcement calculations to Piping Design codes.\xc2\xb7 Experience in technical evaluations of Piping Vendor quotations.\xc2\xb7 Capable of giving technical recommendation of piping materials, valve, and special piping item suppliers.\xc2\xb7 Experience in producing Piping Standard Details for the Piping Layout group.\xc2\xb7 Substantial experience in the Oil & Gas industry and/or Petrochemical Industry.\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated performance as a team leader is preferred.\xc2\xb7 Dynamic and enthusiastic approach is essential.QualificationsQualifications:\xc2\xb7 Experience in Piping Materials and Piping Engineering.\xc2\xb7 Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Moving forward togetherWe want our people to be energized and empowered to drive sustainable impact.
