JOB PURPOSE:ExecuJet MRO Services is currently seeking a suitably qualified Senior Materials Coordinator.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures all procurement and logistics jobs are performed per Company rules and requirements.
  • Trains, guides and instructs Materials Coordinators to ensure they follow the Company policies, procedures and processes.
  • Quotes, orders, monitors, and ensures all material requirements required for stock and aircraft in maintenance and out-station are made available as needed.
  • Communicates effectively with manufacturers, suppliers, operators, service providers and freight forwarders and resolves issues promptly.
  • Coordinates with customers and internally with Maintenance, Planning, Finance, Warranty and other section staff on any related requirements.
  • Updates the systems and tracks the emails and the open requirements promptly.
  • Communicates efficiently with the stores\' personnel to promptly process incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Prepares and attends meetings (internal and external).
  • Supports Stores with any ad-hoc urgent requirements.
  • Ensures stock availability of commonly used materials.
  • Takes on other duties and responsibilities as delegated.
QUALIFICATIONS:Essential
  • College level education in Business Management, Engineering, Aviation or Logistics.
  • Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the aviation industry.
  • Experience in purchasing aircraft materials in an MRO environment.
  • Working knowledge of aerospace OEMs, suppliers, and parts distribution channels.
  • Understanding of Technical Data such as Service Bulletins, Drawings, and IPC.
  • Interpreting of Contracts and Terms and Conditions of agreements.
  • Excellent knowledge of aircraft materials, their acceptability with regards to aviation authorities\xe2\x80\x99 regulations.
  • Understanding of supply chain activities and industry best practices.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Excel.
Desirable
  • Experience in a Business Aviation spares purchasing department.
  • Knowledge of aircraft spares warehousing and handling practices.
  • Knowledge with aircraft parts and tooling/equipment.
  • Familiar with Dangerous Goods shipping requirements.
  • Experience with an MRO ERP system.

  • Able to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously.
