Purpose The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, will manage recruitment of senior leadership roles across Education and Corporate within Gems Education. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand talent needs, devise recruitment strategies, and ensure a consistent and positive candidate experience. They will act as a partner and advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on the hiring process and best practices. Additionally, they will be operationally excellent, continuously improving processes and metrics to deliver value-added talent acquisition services. Key Accountabilities
Develop relationships with hiring managers and act as a partner and advisor in all aspects of the hiring process
Work closely with stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and devise recruitment strategies to actively source and attract top talent
Ensure a positive candidate experience for all applicants, managing communication and feedback throughout the process
Manage a portfolio of job requisitions and proactively manage sourcing and recruitment activities to ensure positions are filled in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner
Lead the creation and implementation of recruitment initiatives to meet the company's hiring needs and attract top talent
Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of the education industry trends, talent market, and recruitment practices, recommending improvements and innovations as appropriate
Be operationally excellent, regularly tracking and analyzing recruitment metrics to ensure quality delivery of talent acquisition services
Apply knowledge of behavioral-based interviewing techniques as well as other aspects of HR to maintain a relevant and compliant hiring process
Develop and produce regular reports on recruitment metrics such as time to fill, cost per hire, and quality of hire
Analyze recruitment data to track progress, identify trends, and recommend improvements to the recruitment process
Provide regular feedback to stakeholders on recruitment performance via reports outlining progress and outcomes
Work with the HR and Finance teams to develop and manage recruitment budgets, forecasting costs, and recommending cost-saving measures
Communicate key data insights and trends to leadership, identifying areas of opportunity or concern and proposing strategies for improvement
Ensure ongoing data integrity, contributing to data accuracy and reconciling any discrepancies
Proactively map and pipeline school leadership roles building a global sector knowledge base
Skills Expected Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, CIPD is a plus
Expected Experience:
10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, a mix of internal and agency executive search experience would be advantageous
Proven track record in recruitment in the Education sector is a must
Experience working with stakeholders as a partner and advisor, a consultative mindset is critical for this position
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop action plans
Experienced in using ATS and other recruitment tools
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and competing demands
A proven track record of delivering a world class candidate experience for applicants
