Job Description

:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the operations and property management team within the Fruit & Vegetable market.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff within the department.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of all market properties.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the facilities, ensuring that all services are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the operations and property management team, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the leasing and tenant management processes, ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with market vendors and tenants to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Implement and enforce market rules and regulations to maintain order and cleanliness.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Develop and manage the department\'s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, expense control, and financial reporting.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising the quality of services.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards specific to the Fruit & Vegetable market.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for the growth and development of the market properties.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, renovation, and enhancement of existing properties.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operations and property management strategies with the organization\'s overall goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to tenants, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concern in a timely and professional manner.
  • Implement customer service initiatives to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare regular reports on the performance of the operations and property management department for senior management.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and senior management.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, conferences, and other events as required.
  • Implement best practices for the maintenance and operation of refrigeration systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and environmental regulations related to temperature-controlled facilities
  • Conduct high-level and ad-hoc audits of the inspection processes and results to ensure thoroughness and accuracy, providing feedback and directives for improvements.
  • Lead investigations into major safety incidents or compliance breaches, developing and enforcing robust corrective action plans.
  • Ensure the analysis and strategic reporting of inspection data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Present recommendations to senior management and stakeholders based on inspection data and trends.
  • Oversee the training and development of the inspection team to maintain high standards of compliance and operational efficiency.
