This role focuses on enhancing the learning experience through innovative content strategies and alignment with organizational goals. The incumbent will play a critical role in cultivating a culture of continuous learning, fostering employee development, and improving overall performance across all levels. This includes creating and curating learning content in both Arabic and English, tailored to meet the needs of GMG employees across all countries and organizational levels. By leveraging advanced learning technologies and methodologies, the incumbent will ensure that training programs are effective, accessible, and aligned with GMG's global vision for growth and excellence.AccountabilitiesCore Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy for the L&D department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Lead the design and development of learning materials, ensuring they are engaging, interactive and aligned with organization principles.
Establishing the GMG Learning Center, designing programs and pathways that support skill development, leadership training, and organizational learning initiatives.
Designing and implementing training programs that leverage a variety of learning methodologies, including e-learning, classroom training, on-the-job training, and blended learning approaches.
Overseeing the development of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and structured career learning pathways, ensuring employees have access to learning opportunities that support their career growth.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders supporting talent management initiatives and develop learning solutions that addressing performance objectives, e.g. developing and implementing career development programs that provide employees with the necessary tools and resources to advance their skills and careers within GMG. Facilitating the design and delivery of performance improvement programs, supporting managers and employees in achieving performance objectives and enhancing overall productivity.
Leading the analysis of training needs (TNA) to identify skill gaps across the organization, ensuring that learning solutions are tailored to meet business requirements using data-driven insights to develop relevant content.
Manage the content development process from concept to delivery, including needs analysis, storyboarding, scripting, and production of both digital platforms (LMS) and in-person sessions.
Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of learning materials to ensure quality, relevance, and effectiveness.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify training needs, develop learning objectives, and design educational curriculum that addresses skill gaps and promotes employee growth.
Manage the end-to-end content development process, including needs assessment, content creation, quality assurance, and evaluation of learning outcomes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR Operations, and Transformation team to integrate learning solutions into existing systems and processes (LMS).
Provide guidance and mentorship to content development team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative learning methodologies to enhance the learning experience.
Implement best practices in instructional design and adult learning principles to create engaging and effective learning experience.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, utilizing feedback to continuously improve content and delivery methods.
Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, consultants, and industry partners to leverage resources and expertise in content development and delivery.
Design and utilization of L&D dashboards to monitor key metrics such as training completion rates, learner engagement, and the impact of learning initiatives on business outcomes. These dashboards will provide valuable insights to drive data-driven decisions and continuous improvement in L&D strategies.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery of content initiatives

Functional/Technical Competencies:
Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and learning technologies.

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
The incumbent must demonstrate advanced expertise in creating Learning & Development strategies that align with organizational goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. They should have proven experience in designing and evaluating diverse training programs, including e-learning, classroom, and blended formats, while also developing engaging content in both Arabic and English to cater to employees at all levels. Experience in managing and optimizing Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Coursera, Cornerstone, or SABA is a plus, ensuring efficient delivery and tracking of training programs. The role requires capability in implementing talent management programs, career development pathways, and performance improvement initiatives to support employee growth and organizational success.The incumbent must also possess excellent skills in content creation, developing relevant learning materials in Arabic and English. With a solid background in project management, they must be able to oversee multiple L&D projects, ensuring high-quality execution within set timelines. Furthermore, strong communication and interpersonal skills are critical to effectively engage internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and external vendors to drive successful L&D initiatives.Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Learning Technology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications in Learning & Development, HR, or Organizational Development (e.g., CIPD Level 5/7, SHRM) are highly advantageous.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or learning and development roles. Proven track record of designing and delivering effective training programs in a corporate or educational setting. Familiarity with industry-specific content areas, such as sales, customer service, compliance, or technical skills training.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal). Additional language proficiency may be beneficial.
