Madison Pearl is working with a leading bank in the GCC. They are in the process of growing their Financial Institutions Coverage team and would like to hire a senior manager to assist in their expansion of the North African market.This role would be ideal for candidates with a strong focus on building and managing relationships with Financial Institutions in North Africa.In this role, you will drive growth by acquiring new clients and managing existing relationships with Financial Institutions in markets such as Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco. You will leverage your expertise in cash management, trade finance, and loans to deliver tailored solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and aligning with the organization's business objectives.Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A coverage banker with a proven track record in managing Financial Institution relationships.
- Experience on the borrowing side, leading client engagement across various banking products.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to build trusted relationships with counterparts.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Financial Institutions, focusing on delivering value through cross-selling and tailored banking solutions.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities within target markets, apply for necessary credit approvals, and book approved transactions.
- Portfolio Performance: Regularly review account performance and recommend strategies to optimize returns.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk analysis and ensure compliance with the organization's policies to safeguard interests.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of relationship managers, ensuring high performance and service delivery standards.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- 7-10 years in FI coverage with a strong focus on North African markets (Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco).
- Deep understanding of banking products such as treasury, capital markets, trade finance, and cash management.
- Proficiency in Arabic and/or French is highly preferred.
