Senior Manager, Global Partnerships, Golf Events
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Work with and take the lead from the Tournament Director and the Vice President Strategic Partnerships to successfully deliver all aspects of the contracted sponsorship activation for several sponsorship accounts.
Gain a complete understanding of the sponsor's brand and their objectives for sponsorship activation from a central and local perspective. Understand and over-deliver the long term and short-term objectives and measures of success.
Build trust and grow relationships with sponsor to ensure long-term partnerships.
Ensure the sponsorship objectives are met and all elements of the sponsorship agreement are exceeded. Keep all parties up to date with sponsor requirements and agreements.
Be the central point of contact for event teams throughout the sponsorship and assist in managing relations with the sponsor's central office.
Work with event teams to ensure consistent sponsorship delivery across territories including brand messaging pre, during and post events.
Set up meetings and maintaining regular contact with event teams, as necessary.
Liaise with event teams and sponsor local/central stakeholders to ensure effective activation
Proactively look for additional marketing opportunities for the sponsor. Explore opportunities to deliver cross-promotions through competitions, show information etc linking the events.
Ensure sponsor design guidelines are adhered to across markets and sponsor's brand is represented in accordance with the contract for the event
Advise event teams on the design, build and content creation of sponsored features at the show. Liaise with sponsor's Central team on signing off feature plans and recharges.
Revenue generation through up selling/recharging where relevant.
Collect relevant post-event information to prepare event report for sponsor post event.
Research potential new partners, supporting the sales lead.
Reaching out to new brands and making introductions to the sales team for potential new partnerships.
Supporting the wider IMG/ Endeavor team beyond golf with connections within the Saudi market.
Liaising closely with our client, on partner tracking and updates.
Building out presentations with the creative team for delivery to prospective clients.
Drafting agreements for new partners and liaising with legal teams.
Ensuring payments are made on time, and invoices are issued.
Create regular reports, and update sales trackers to mark opportunities and progress.
Supporting IMG centrally, with company administration relating to the Saudi operations. Including, but not limited to.
Manage all payments through the IMG Saudi bank account, including none IMG payments.
Act as a local representative for IMG, in matters related to bank and company management.
Helping to renew trade license, and other licenses as required.
Assisting with admin related to our company office within Riyadh.
Supporting communications with vendors when there is a clear language barrier.
A signatory for IMG Saudi.
Appointed as GM and be on the commercial registration
Other duties that are within the scope of the role that may be required
Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc.
Regular weekend work where you may be required to travel to events in line with the golf portfolio, including the PIF Saudi International powered by SBIA
Outside of event travel there will be a requirement to travel for meetings as part of the role.
Key Results Areas
Over-delivery of the current sponsorship contracts
Successful execution of sponsorship deliverables in all markets
Upselling and/or offering additional opportunities to the sponsor where relevant
Identifying appropriate opportunities for brand collaborations and value-adds
Contribution to expanding the relationship beyond current contracts
Support the Tournament Director and the Vice President Strategic Partnerships to promote extension/expansion of existing deals e.g. case studies, delivery reports and growth proposals.
Positive feedback from both internal and external stakeholders and team members

Knowledge and Experience
Good knowledge of the events industry, preferably in Golf
A strong track record of delivering complex sponsorship activations to a high standard
Knowledge of PR, brand marketing and social media from a sponsorship delivery point of view
Experience of event management and/or brand activation at licensed events
Experience of working with multiple concurrent events internationally
Skills & Abilities (Personal and Professional)
An effective leader with strong people management skills and ability to excel in a fast paced environment
Working knowledge of MS Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
Ability to build long lasting working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to self-direct and motivate and work with minimal supervision
A strong team player that is flexible dependent on business demand
Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
