:IRIS Executives, leader in Emiratization and Executive Search, is urgently looking for a Senior Manager - Employee Services - UAE National for one of its largest clients in Dubai.Job Title: Senior Manager - Employee Services - UAE NationalJob Location: DubaiRemuneration: CompetitiveJob Responsibilities:The Senior Manager - Employee Services is responsible to plan, develop, adapt and coordinate the implementation of a comprehensive employee services plan and build an integrated employee services function which ensures the highest level of service delivery and runs an error free data administration process. The Senior Manager - Employee Services is also responsible to ensure proper support is provided to employees with the aim to enhance the working environment and promote a positive culture within the company.
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Human Resources strategy in alignment with the companys system-wide strategy.
Support with the development and implementation of Human Resources policies, procedures and processes and monitor compliance of subordinates.
Contribute to the development of the annual budget of the Human Resources department.
Operational Role
Develop a yearly plan for Employee Services in line with the strategic and business plan for HR and the company.
Plan and implement best-fit Employee Services policies, procedures and processes to ensure all employees requirements are timely and proactively addressed.
Develop and monitor adherence to Employee Services policies, procedures and processes across functions and campuses.
Supervise the timely and effective processing of payroll activities including recurring and non-recurring elements; conduct final audit and approve final payroll for submission to Finance.
Foster and maintain good relationships with governmental and non-governmental bodies to keep up-to-date with changes in employment practices and regulations in order to provide proper guidance to the company employees.
Manage operational issues, conflicts and queries, and encourage open communication between employees across the company.
Manage voluntary and involuntary employee separation in coordination with relevant functions and campuses, and Talent Acquisition. Ensure that guidelines are available for campus HR to follow.
Manage employee contracts in coordination with Talent Acquisition.
Manage and oversee the filing, storage, update and access to employee records and data.
Manage relations and negotiation with third party providers related to Employee Services (such as insurance companies, relocation agencies, etc.) with the aim to provide employees with affordable and high-quality benefits.
Coordinate with the IT Functional Consultant for the development and continuous maintenance of the HR system.
Leadership Role
Provide professional development support and perform periodic performance appraisals for direct subordinates based on the company's Performance Management System.
Support in the development of workforce plans and succession plans for key positions in the Employee Services section.
Contribute to the identification of learning and development needs of employees within the Employee Services section.
Coach and mentor subordinates on a regular basis. Contribute in an effective and efficient manner to the recruitment and development of UAE Nationals.
To qualify for this role, you must have:
A minimum of eight years of work experience in Human Resources or a related field, including at least two years in a managerial role.
A Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration).
A technology-driven mindset, with proficiency in the metaverse.
Full proficiency in English.
Intermediate computer literacy, including familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, and Banner.
