Senior Manager, Cost Modeler, will develop financial models and benchmarking components of the model against industry best practices, to ensure O&M bids are delivered in an efficient and timely manner, and are aligned with NOMACs value proposition.
Financial modelling and Costing
Develop basic financing models, scenario analysis and return analysis for the bids based on the market research, financial profile of the project, key contracts with off-takers, to ensure all financing alternatives are presented to the management with the associated risks, to aid BD decisions.
Review and analyse the assumptions provided by different teams and ensure they are incorporated in the financial models. Technical understanding of Power and/or Water business will be an added plus.
Review contractual provisions for Operations and Maintenance, Payment terms, Liability Cap clause and related Tariff Schedules, to ensure the terms and conditions are favourable towards
NOMAC/ACWA.
Develop the O&M term-sheet for the proposals to ensure that the company is competitive on price, whilst being profitable.
Work closely with the Business Development team, sharing the insights from the market research, internal and external benchmarking and competitor information, to ensure the proposals are competitive and consider all previous learnings and insights.
Benchmarking
Conduct market research and benchmarking with competitors to ensure NOMACs value proposition is still viable and well positioned in the market place.
Collate information and data about the plants performance, (Operational and financial), analyse the data for good practices and develop internal benchmarks to ensure the other plants can leverage this information and benefit from it.
Market Intelligence and Awareness
Develop a thorough understanding of the broader Power and water Generation industry, NOMACs business value chain, operating model, etc., in order to effectively place the analysis of information within NOMACs context.
Reporting
Conduct presentations with the management team and business units, providing updates on the analysis conducted, and high - level recommendations/ hypothesis, in order to support decision making.
Who will fit:
Bachelor degree holder in Engineering.
Added Finance/Accounting Qualification or MBA (Preferable)
7+ years experience preferably in utility sector
