We are currently recruiting for one of our clients on the lookout for a Senior Manager - Continuous Improvement to be based out of their office in Abu Dhabi.Purpose -Support the Executive Director to drive a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture across the group, identify opportunities to increase process efficiency, reduce process variation, eliminate waste, sustain improvements, and monitor process performance.Responsibility -
  • Identify areas of process improvement to enable the business to perform to its optimum ability.
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma (LSS) program - Planning training at all belt levels, gathering nominations, facilitating project identification, coordinating with HR, monitoring, validating training content, managing consultant contracts, and tracking benefits.
  • Manage Robotic Process Automation (RPA) program - Identify automation use cases, conduct high-level technical & commercial feasibility, manage procurement task orders to initiate use cases, track development, ensure pre-automation infrastructure readiness, monitor BOT license utilization and track benefit realization.
  • Spearhead process documentation (Lean Program) - Identify processes for mapping, ensure achievement of monthly mapping targets, ensure standardization, monitor mapping tool license utilization, publish processes into the process repository.
  • Participate in the analysis of the day-to-day problems to understand the root cause and propose/implement actions.
  • Engage periodically with executive leadership and prioritize key focus areas; at the same time, implement quick wins.
  • Communicate the performance of all programs periodically.
  • Facilitate cross-functional kaizen workshops and ensure timely implementation of agreed solutions.
  • Ensure alignment with policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Drive change management for all large-scale process transformation projects.
  • Convert process ambiguities into clear problem statements eventually formed into clear project charters.
  • Partner with front-end operations and back-end support departments at all levels.
  • Promote and facilitate CI groups around the problems that require a collective approach.
  • Ensure the organization has the appropriate methodology, tools, and processes to perform in an optimum way.
  • Develop and own short and long-term process transformation roadmap.
  • Engage and manage consultants to deliver workstreams in mid-large scale process transformation projects.
  • Ensure tools and techniques for continuous improvement are embedded within departments and business units.
  • Implement new processes using advanced change management and stakeholder management techniques.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of expected transformation deliverables in alignment with business case requirements.
  • Deploy new disruptive innovations, tools, technologies, and methodologies that support process efficiency through pilots and/or launch in practice.
  • Partner closely with the Digital & Technology department to drive CI through automation.
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of implemented processes and assist in setting up statistically validated targets.
  • Analyse the performance and trends of processes through KPI analysis and reporting.
Skills
  • LSS Master Black Belt certification, with a strong understanding of various business process improvement
methodologies. * Min 12-15 years of relevant work experience driving continuous improvement and transformation.
  • Proficient with Minitab or any other equivalent advanced statistical applications.
  • Experience managing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and any other automation platforms to drive process efficiency.
  • Advanced MS Office user, especially with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience introducing new and transformative technologies that enable improved performance.
  • Ability to derive clear problem statements/improvement opportunities from ambiguous situations.
  • Strong work ethic with an inherent sense of ownership and responsibility.
  • Strong interpersonal, listening, relationship-building, daring to disrupt, influencing, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to create strong business cases for projects and work with the organization leaders on prioritization.
  • A strong change manager with tenacity to follow through to closure.
  • Bachelors degree from a recognized university.
  • Deep experience developing and delivering comprehensive, actionable change management plans for change projects.
  • Fluency in English.
