OverviewM42 is looking for a high-performing Senior Manager, Business Development to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximising our sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to the upper management.Stand responsible for teams working to win new business, explore new avenues of activity and seek out opportunities to help the company develop and grow. Also negotiating and agreeing on contracts and verifying employee performance.ResponsibilitiesSales Focused (75%)
Achieve sales objectives by forecasting & developing annual sales quotas for regions & territories, and projecting expected sales volume & profit for existing & new products.
Implement national / International sales programs by developing field sales action plans.
Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply & demand, changing trends, economic indicators, operations and competitors.
Establish and adjust selling price by monitoring costs, competition, and supply & demand.
Complete national/international sales operations requirements as needed.
Stay abreast of professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional groups.
Contribute to the team effort by meeting targets and demonstrating results.
Commercial Focused (25%)
Demonstrate good risk management skills as well as financial reporting abilities.
Provide independent, commercially focused and solution-driven advice to the Executive General Manager across a broad range of commercial matters.
Develop and drive commercial strategies to support the achievement of the business plan.
Draft and review commercial proposals and their analysis.
Draft, review and assist in negotiating a broad range of contracts including project contracts and general corporate documentation.
Provide commercial advice and draft relevant documentation along with financial models.
Help ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as appropriate.
Assist the Finance Department in the proactive management of debt recovery.
Identify new commercial opportunities and advise the way forward.
Provide advice on business improvement projects
Qualifications
Bachelor in Science or related medical field.
10+ years of sales within Genomics.
Deep knowledge of sales planning.
Previous experience managing sales teams.
Excellent knowledge of the industry (Genomics / Multi OMICS).
