:JOB PURPOSE:Lead, plan and manage all operations within the Lubricants Marketing function to drive new product and business development, sales and promotional activities of all lubricant brands and products within the target markets in order to maximise revenues and market share while establishing a strong and stable brand.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Job Specific AccountabilitiesBrand and Value Proposition\xef\x82\xb7 Lead the effective collaboration with the Marketing team to develop overall marketing strategy for lubricants, lead campaigns/ initiatives to increase lubricant market penetration, brand reputation etc. ensuring alignment with the overall commercial strategy.\xef\x82\xb7 Identify the target market segments and analyze relevant product requirements in order to assess, define and evolve a quality value proposition for brand of lubricants.\xef\x82\xb7 Conceptualize brand of lubricants for Middle East & other international strategic locations in order to build and communicate a strong brand and establish market presence.\xef\x82\xb7 Lead formulation of detailed launch strategies and integrated communication campaigns via suitable channels, in conjunction with the branding and advertising section, in order to communicate the brand and value proposition in an effective and cost optimal manner to the target audience.\xef\x82\xb7 Review and approve all product packaging and design initiatives to ensure a strong reflection of brand and value proposition through the product for creating a top of the mind recall amongst target customers.New Product and Market Development\xef\x82\xb7 Assess the market conditions and requirements of different geographies to evaluate suitable geographies for business expansion; and recommend to management, in close collaboration with the Marketing team.\xef\x82\xb7 Lead all new product developments by analyzing relevant market research, assessing inputs based on new formulations recommended by Specialist Tech Formulations, assessing customer feedback provided by the sales team in order to ensure a successful product portfolio for lubricantsCredibility Initiatives and Strategic Tie-ups\xef\x82\xb7 Lead the process for gaining the approval of key established OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in order to gain credibility.\xef\x82\xb7 Seek and establish strategic tie-ups with key B2B clients in order to promote sales as well as market reputation as being the preferred brand for key players in the industry.Pricing and Promotions\xef\x82\xb7 Review and provide inputs to the marketing and promotional plans to assure alignment with the business plan.\xef\x82\xb7 Manage the effective execution of promotional events to educate the participants about the product and to network with corporate and high net worth potential customers who can be captured as revenue generating customers.\xef\x82\xb7 Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs to the distributors in order to ensure effective implementation of all promotional plans.\xef\x82\xb7 Define the price points for the products, develop and communicate price margins to the sales team on the basis of the set gross margins, costs and define budgets, to negotiate in order to provide differential pricing to incentivize key customers.Supply Chain\xef\x82\xb7 Supervise and approve the selection of procurement and sourcing solutions to implement continual cost savings initiatives and ensure the overall efficiency of the supply chain function\xef\x82\xb7 Identify and analyse potential cost-saving opportunities from raw material acquisition to product deliveryand potential average price increments opportunities for the product mix in order to optimize profitability.Sales Plans\xef\x82\xb7 Monitor on a regular basis (monthly, quarterly or annually as deemed suitable) the achievement of sales plans and evaluate the performance of the geographies under sales network coverage.Training Programs\xef\x82\xb7 Ensure provision of quality training programs for distributors and sales team in order to develop relevant technical and behavioral competencies such as product awareness and market acumen.Relationship Management\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and maintain effective business relationships with all relevant internal departments and external entities such as clients, local, international and government authorities etc. with highest standards of business ethics, whilst promptly attending to all critical issues in-order to ensure the services required by the organization are delivered in the most effective mannerRequirementsMinimum Qualification\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelors Degree in Marketing or equivalent.Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills\xef\x82\xb7 10 years of experience in Marketing of petroleum products, of which at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in the retail sector or in a similar environment.\xef\x82\xb7 Multi-functional operational management experience.\xef\x82\xb7 Deep knowledge of business workflows, operations processes and systems.\xef\x82\xb7 Experience of developing strategic plans for service-based industry.\xef\x82\xb7 Strong experience in project management and the execution of complex projects that are critical to the delivery of business strategies and goals.\xef\x82\xb7 Regional exposure and retail background are a plus.\xef\x82\xb7 Innovative and conceptual thinking\xef\x82\xb7 Highly skilled in aligning goals with strategic direction\xef\x82\xb7 In depth knowledge of business objectives, operations and of the regional lawsand regulations\xef\x82\xb7 Strategic thinking\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to drive organizational climate/culture, Knowledge of financial management\xef\x82\xb7 Strong mentoring and coaching skills, Communication and influencing skills\xef\x82\xb7 Project management & Team leadership skills
